[0001] The invention relates to a cleat for wedge-resistant ladder. For working at height, for example on low-voltage power lines or telephone lines carried by poles, it is known to use ladders resting on the post 1, as shown in FIG. 1, or located near the pole. post, but leaning on support legs. Usually, each cleat is composed of a bearing plate two transverse axes on each of which are rotatably mounted two ovoidally shaped cleats resiliently biased against each other. These cleats are arranged on either side of the clamping plane of the guying rope. The curved face of each cleat, which is turned towards the other cleat, is provided with notched transverse ridges adapted to oppose the movements of the guying rope 4. The cleat bearing platen is fixed by screws on the inner wall of each of the amounts M of the fixed plane 2. Although satisfactory, such cleats have two disadvantages. The first is that they require to drill two holes in each amount, with the result of weakening locally this amount. It relates more particularly to ladders in which, as described in the document FR1360240 in the name of the applicant, the cross section of the central portion of the bar is triangular in shape and has, projecting from its upper face longitudinal grooves for the support of the user's foot. According to the invention, each upright M of the fixed plane carries a single cam cleat rotatably mounted on a cylindrical bearing forming part of a monolithic piece which is positioned on the upright M so that the notches of the cleat are facing each other. splines of a bar B1, said part comprising means for angular positioning on the bar, a mounting plate on the upright by a single connecting means and stiffening ribs of the bearing-platinum connection. As can be seen in FIG. 3, the bearing 10 projects towards the inside of the ladder from a plate 12. This comprises, at its upper end, a hole 13 for the passage a fixing means, such as a rivet or screw, and at its lower end, a tubular liner 14 which, adapted to surround one of the transverse bars B with a reduced clearance, has in this embodiment a rounded triangular section. Thus, the liner 14 is angularly positioned by the bar and strengthens the monolithic piece 11. The wall 14a of the liner, which is turned towards the post 1, is extended upwards by a rib 15 reinforcing the piece by forming a gusset . FIG. 3 shows that the rib 15 is traversed by a hole 16 for the passage of the guying rope 4. Finally, the body of the bearing 10 is connected to the plate 12 by radial ribs 17 giving it a very good resistance In known manner, the cleat 5 comprises an axial bore, not shown, by which it is rotatably mounted on the bearing 10.
